RPG Casting Clinic – Weekly Sessions Starting in April

Ready to make your cast feel easy, efficient, and smooth instead of like hard work?

Starting in April 2026​, River People Guides Fly Shop will be running a weekly Casting Clinic every Wednesday and Friday to help you build rock-solid fundamentals and real confidence on the water.

What the Clinic Focuses On

This isn’t a “cast as far as you can” lesson.

Our clinics focus on efficient, controlled casting—the kind that actually catches fish:

• Proper rod loading and timing
• Minimizing slack for clean energy transfer
• Understanding back-cast mechanics
• Smooth, progressive acceleration
• Practical river casts: roll casts, reach mends, accuracy drills, and single-hand spey-style casts

You’ll learn how to cast comfortably at any realistic fishing distance, with less effort and more confidence.

Who It’s For

• Beginners wanting a strong foundation
• Intermediate anglers improving accuracy & consistency
• Anyone struggling with wind, line control, or timing

When & Where

• Days: Every Wednesday & Friday, starting this May
• Duration: 1.5–2 hours per session
• Location: River People Guides Fly Shop – Bragg Creek (with outdoor casting area / river access when conditions allow)

Cost

$200 per session

Includes personalized instruction, casting drills, and access to rods if needed.

If you don’t have your own setup, no problem—RPG will provide gear.
