Orvis PRO Depth Charge 3D Smooth
Orvis PRO Depth Charge Fly Line
The PRO Depth Charge is a high-performance, triple-density sinking fly line expertly engineered to deliver exceptional line control and strike detection. Its unique three-density design eliminates the hinge effect, ensuring a tight connection from fly to angler as it descends through the water column. This innovation minimizes slack, making it ideal for swinging flies in fast-moving currents or fishing streamers in deep stillwaters.
The line features a 30-foot full sink tip (sinking at an average rate of 6 inches per second, depending on grain weight), a 20-foot Type 3 mid-section (3 inches per second sink rate), and an intermediate running line with a 1.5-inch-per-second sink rate. This combination ensures optimal performance across varying depths and water conditions.
